Nicole Brandolino


Rising Italian mezzo-soprano, Nicole Brandolino, has begun her musical studies with soprano Susanna Rigacci, favorite voice of Ennio Morricone and has taken her musical degree at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Turin, Italy. Her vocal coach is the baritone Umberto Ginanni. Nicole has already made her way through important Italian theaters such as Teatro Alla Scala and Teatro Regio of Turin, Teatro Municipale of Piacenza, Ravenna Festival, Teatro Pavarotti of Modena, under the baton of, among others, Donato Renzetti, Gianandrea Noseda, Federico Maria Sardelli, Roberto Rizzi Brignoli and Riccardo Chailly. She starts her musical career at a very young age, debuting in Shanghai as a soloist and testimonial of a famous brand. In Turin she sings Vivaldi Gloria for the XVIII Europa Cantat Festival conducted by Federico Maria Sardelli with Academia Montis Regalis Orchestra. She is invited in a Gala concert at the Teatro Carlo Felice Opera di Genoa besides Leo Nucci and the conduction of Roberto Rizzi Brignoli. She inaugurates the 2015/16 Opera Season of Municipale Opera House of Piacenza, Alighieri of Ravenna, Comunale of Modena in the role of Beppe the gipsy in L’Amico Fritz by Mascagni, with the conduction of Donato Renzetti and the direction of Leo Nucci, getting great critics success for acting abilities, vocal timbre and easy vocal emission. She is invited to sing the expanded role of Kate Pinkerton in the first Pucciniʼs 1904 Madama Butterfly edition in the occasion of the prestigious 7th December of Teatro alla Scala Opening Season 2016/17 under the baton of Riccardo Chailly. She is die Zweite Dame in Die Zauberflöte in Teatro Regio of Turin. In the occasion of the inauguration of Opera Open 2017 she is invited to sing in the majestic Plovdivʼs Ancient Roman Arena. Among other concerts she also gives Brahms Lied concerts for alto viola and piano with Enrico Carraro and Giacomo Fuga. Nicole Brandolino has been also acclaimed in discography: she has had already great collaborations, with the Academy Award Luis Bacalov and the Orchestre Philharmonique of Monte Carlo and the production Erato/ Warner Classics “Fiamma del Belcanto” in which Nicole duets with Diana Damrau conducted by Gianandrea Noseda and the Teatro Regio orchestra of Turin. She is winner of the V edition of the international lyrical singing competition Salvatore Licitra.
